Injury rehab and prevention with a long-term, active-life mindset.
I run Alchemy Injury Rehab & Prevention in Calgary. My focus is helping active people reduce pain, restore function, and continue doing the things they love — with a practical plan that supports strength, mobility, and long-term resilience.
Sessions are built around careful assessment, targeted hands-on work, and clear takeaways so you understand what your body needs between visits.
Born in the big smoke of London, England, I grew up playing football (soccer for all you Canadians) and tennis. It was my love of sport, movement, and science that led me into the field of physiotherapy.
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and Physiology at Leeds University in 2003, followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Northumbria in 2006. I later carried out research into the prevention of hamstring injuries, which was subsequently published.
I am a highly experienced injury and rehabilitation specialist with 18 years of former clinical experience as a physiotherapist, dedicated to helping people recover from injury, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical health and wellbeing.
Throughout my career, I have worked across a variety of clinical and sporting environments. Alongside a strong interest in sports physiotherapy and injury prevention, I spent several years working with semi-professional and elite English rugby teams, including the Newcastle Falcons, as well as with the Royal Air Force. I have also delivered in-service education sessions for English Premier League football teams.
I am nearing full certification in Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT), a specialised system focused on optimising muscle function and movement efficiency, and am among a small number of practitioners in Canada pursuing this advanced qualification.
